Our books have been on incredible journeys…
Sun Kisses, Moon Hugs is being used by hundreds of hospitals, schools and organizations to support children coping with loss, grief and separation. It is a “Children’s Grief Awareness Day” featured book, and in 2016 won the International Publishers Gold Award for Children’s Picture Books! Syndicated advice columnist Amy Dickinson (“Ask Amy”) singled it out as her favorite book to reassure children who are coping with divorce.

In 2016, First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama read The Rhino Who Swallowed a Storm with our co-author LeVar Burton. Democratic presidential nominee (then vice-president) Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill Biden read the book to military families at an event at their home. More than 4 million Twitter fans have viewed LeVar Burton’s livestream readings of the book during the pandemic. Most astonishingly, this book was sent on a rocket to the International Space Station in 2015 and read aloud by US Astronaut Kate Rubins as part of the innovative Storytime from Space program – sending a truly global message of hope and healing for children experiencing trauma and stormy emotions in their lives.
The Big Adventures of Tiny House was a #1 bestseller on Amazon in the green living/recycling children’s books category. The book has been praised and read aloud by celebrities in the tiny house community, including Zack Giffin, star of the popular show “Tiny House Nation,” and Bryce Langston, New Zealand-based host of the globally-acclaimed Youtube show “Living Big in a Tiny House.” This book captures the spirit of a worldwide movement!
The Artist Who Loved Cats: The Inspiring Tale of Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen has received numerous awards, including a US Parents Choice Gold Award! |
Inspired, our Greek mythology-infused young adult fantasy novel, held #1 on Amazon for “teen magical realism fiction” and “mind-body-spirit books” for more than a month! Publisher’s Weekly Booklife calls it “the perfect blend of history, fantasy and entertainment.”
